Small Sums Work Pant Project

Our St. Paul club was asked to help the non-profit organization, Small Sums, purchase several hundred pairs of work pants for their clients. Small Sums provides homeless individuals who are starting new jobs with the clothing, tools and transportation assistance they need be successful in their new jobs. Our club was able help them with a monetary donation towards their goals. We also help with hands-on projects as a group when needed.

Scholarships for continuing education

The Green Bay Club provides two scholarships of $1,000 each to two high school students for their college tuition. The Club also provides two scholarships of $1,000 each to two adult returning students. The recipients receive the funds upon receipt of their first semester transcripts.

Habitat Home Dedications

The Green Bay Altrusa Club provides the refreshments for the new house dedications for Habitat for Humanity families. The Club also donates a bookcase and age appropriate books for the children in the family. Habitat dedicates an average of 12-15 homes a year in the Green Bay area.
